Job Description

We are looking for a Warranty Specialist to join our team and play a key role in ensuring warranty claims are processed accurately, fairly, and in line with manufacturer policies and Australian Consumer Law.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Adjudicate warranty claims submitted by dealerships in line with manufacturer policies and procedures
  • Review claims for accuracy, completeness, and compliance, returning claims where corrections are required
  • Provide clear and timely feedback to dealerships on claim anomalies, errors, or policy breaches
  • Monitor unfinished or pending warranty claims and proactively follow up on outstanding issues
  • Support dealerships by responding to warranty-related enquiries and authority decisions
  • Advise dealerships on claim processing errors and policy requirements
  • Provide ongoing support across all warranty matters, including literature and claim guidance
  • Review, file, and interpret Parts and Service bulletins relevant to warranty processing
  • Ensure correct procedures are followed for dealership credit statements
  • Enter claim debits resulting from audit inspections where required
  • Maintain a strong understanding of Australian Consumer Law (ACL) as it relates to warranty
  • Undertake additional duties as requested by management

 

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred)
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a warranty support role within the automotive industry
  • Strong understanding of automotive warranty systems and processes
  • Solid knowledge of dealership operations
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously while managing multiple priorities under pressure
  • High attention to detail with a strong compliance mindset
