Job Description

As the IM brand begins to expand into the Australian market, we are seeking a Sales Manager to drive sales performance, market growth, dealer capability, and customer experience outcomes across the Australian retail network. You will act as the primary commercial interface between IM and assigned dealerships.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver regional sales, market share, profitability, and customer experience targets.
  • Provide strategic and operational support to dealers aligned with national objectives.
  • Act as the primary liaison for assigned dealerships, managing performance, stock flow, account matters, and logistics coordination.
  • Lead structured dealer engagement including site visits, performance reviews, action planning, and KPI tracking.
  • Oversee daily order intake, manage monthly sales forecasts (±5% variance target), and deliver accurate reporting.
  • Analyse competitor activity, enquiry trends, and order performance to identify growth opportunities.
  • Support retail campaign execution, pricing communication, and local marketing activation.
  • Contribute to network development initiatives and sales capability enhancement programs.

 

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, Automotive Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in automotive sales, dealer management, or business development.
  • Proven track record in driving regional sales growth and dealer performance improvement.
  • Strong commercial acumen with advanced analytical and reporting capability.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Deep understanding of the Australian automotive retail landscape.
