Job Description

Are you a strategic storyteller with a passion for shaping brand reputation and driving impactful communication? We are looking for a Head of PR to lead our public relations strategy and elevate our brand presence in the market.

 

Key Responsibilities

Strategic PR & Planning

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive PR strategy to enhance brand visibility and reputation
  • Lead media relations, including press releases, pitches, and media kits
  • Craft compelling brand stories around key milestones, launches, and partnerships
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Sales teams to align communications with business goals

Crisis Communication & Reputation Management

  • Design and implement crisis communication plans
  • Act as a brand spokesperson when required
  • Monitor public sentiment and proactively manage reputational risks
  • Build strong relationships with journalists, influencers, and key stakeholders

Media Relations & Outreach

  • Cultivate relationships with top-tier media and secure high-quality coverage
  • Lead press events, launches, and media activations
  • Manage external PR agencies and partnerships
  • Maintain and grow a strong media network

Internal Communications

  • Drive internal communication strategies across the organisation
  • Develop newsletters, executive messaging, and internal content
  • Act as a bridge between leadership and employees to ensure transparency

Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Measure PR and event effectiveness using KPIs
  • Track media coverage, brand sentiment, and ROI
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership

 

Skills & Experience

  • Tertiary degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field
  • 8+ years in Public Relations, ideally within the automotive industry
  • Proven experience in integrated campaigns, product launches, and events
  • Strong background in managing PR agencies and media engagement
  • Solid understanding of the automotive and media landscape
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation abilities
  • Creative storytelling and campaign execution skills
  • Strong commercial awareness and strategic thinking
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
  • Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented
