In this pivotal role, you will manage inbound vehicle logistics and support national supply planning to ensure optimal stock availability, accurate forecasting, and seamless coordination across global production teams, shipping partners, ports, and internal stakeholders. Your expertise will help align production, shipment schedules, and inventory levels with wholesale targets and market demand, ensuring vehicles move efficiently from factory to dealer.

About the Role

  • Manage end-to-end inbound vehicle logistics, including vessel bookings, shipment allocations, shipping documentation, and coordination with shipping lines, freight forwarders, ports, and transport providers.
  • Monitor vessel schedules, ETA changes, and port operations, proactively mitigating delays to ensure the timely delivery of vehicles.
  • Support national supply planning by maintaining pipeline visibility, monitoring inventory levels, and aligning stock availability with sales forecasts and wholesale targets.
  • Assist with vehicle allocation planning, managing inventory risks, and ensuring the right product mix is available across dealer networks.
  • Collaborate with global production teams to align build plans, production schedules, and dealer demand through the Vehicle Forward Order System (VFOS).
  • Maintain accurate data across SAP, DCS, and planning systems, ensuring VIN-level tracking and delivering timely reporting and analysis.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, providing regular updates on shipment status, supply risks, and mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor key supply chain performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall supply chain performance.

About You

  • 5+ years' experience in automotive logistics, supply chain, inbound planning, or high-volume import operations.
  • Strong understanding of international shipping, port operations, and supply planning.
  • Experience using SAP and advanced Excel; exposure to DCS or similar planning systems is highly regarded.
  • Highly analytical with strong problem-solving skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Able to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across local and global teams.
  • Commercially minded, with the ability to balance customer service, cost, and operational outcomes.
  • Automotive OEM experience and knowledge of Australian import regulations (including DAFF and RAV) will be highly regarded.

Why Join Us?

  • Opportunity to work in a renowned automotive brand
  • Competitive remuneration package.
  • Join a positive and collaborative work environment.

If you are ready to take the next step in your supply chain career and make a meaningful impact within a dynamic automotive environment, we would love to hear from you.
