About the Role

We are seeking an analytical Sales Planning Manager to support sales performance, forecasting, and dealer support activities across our network. This role plays a critical part in executing sales strategy, optimizing product performance, and delivering actionable insights to achieve ambitious growth targets.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute data-driven sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Maximise performance of key products and support new model launch programmes.
  • Track and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) across model lines and dealership networks.
  • Ensure accurate sales reporting and collaborate closely with dealers to drive monthly sales volumes.
  • Develop and maintain detailed vehicle sales forecasts by model, region, and sales channel.
  • Analyse market trends, competitive activity, and historical sales data to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Monitor dealer and pool stock levels, proactively reducing aged inventory.
  • Track sales performance versus plan and provide actionable insights to improve outcomes.
  • Prepare and deliver sales reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Assist with dealer and internal stakeholder presentations.
  • Support dealers through sales bulletins and inquiry management.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to improve market penetration and overall sales performance.
  • Support and manage sales analysts and sales planning teams across departments.
  • Develop training materials and best practices to enhance dealer sales capabilities.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar sales or sales planning role within the automotive OEM industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a commercial mindset.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualisation/reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
